A document has appeared in the official journal of the US government, which reports that the Pentagon’s Defense Policy Council will meet on December 5 and 6, which will be devoted to the “collection, analysis and assessment of classified information” to develop practical recommendations for the planning and implementation of defense strategy.

At the same time, the document notes that during these meetings secret briefings will be held, at which the “threat” that “Russia poses and will pose from now until 2050” will be assessed.

In addition, during the meetings, secret information about Russia’s actions during a special military operation in Ukraine will be presented.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Charles Brown, and head of the European Command of American Forces, General Christopher Cavoli, are scheduled to speak at the meetings.
