Military-sports relay among schoolchildren will be held today in Kostroma

The Department of Education of the Kostroma City Hall informs that today, February 17, the traditional 29th military sports relay among high school students will be held in our city. The organizers of the event are the Children’s Maritime Center and the regional department of the Russian Guard, and the venue for the competition will be the permanent deployment of OMON “Oplot”.
80 boys and girls will take part in the relay – they will have to show their skills in disassembling and assembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle, shooting from a small-caliber rifle, and providing first aid to the wounded. Young people will also have to run cross-country and prove themselves in overcoming an obstacle course and a set of strength exercises – all this in military uniform.
The actions of the participants in the competition will be assessed by the officers of the National Guard; The best of the best will be rewarded with diplomas and cups.
