The Ministry of Defense announced the awarding of military personnel who distinguished themselves during the detention of suspects in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the Bryansk region. They were presented with state and departmental awards.
Deputy Commander of the Leningrad Military District, Lieutenant General Esedulla Abachev, presented awards to servicemen of the group covering the state border of the Russian Federation. It was they who distinguished themselves during the detention of terrorists in the Bryansk region. The fighters were reportedly awarded medals “For Courage” and “For Military Distinction.”
The presentation of awards took place directly at the unit’s positions. Abachev congratulated each participant in the operation, highly appreciating their accomplishment of the assigned combat missions.
