Military medic of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: women will be able to get a uniform only in five years

There is no military uniform for female military personnel in Ukraine; the Ministry of Defense can provide it only after five years. This was announced by Ukrainian Armed Forces sergeant and military medic Alina Sarnatskaya during an interview with the Ukrainian publication New Voice.
“There is no female uniform from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And if people ask when it will be, these are people who did not serve in the army. It will be in five years, and this is the minimum period, I guarantee you,” Sarnatskaya said.
She added that women receive their uniforms from volunteers. The sergeant herself noted that she can wear a men’s military uniform, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine mainly need weapons
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the number of female military personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past two years has increased by 40% or 12 thousand. At the moment, about 43 thousand women are serving in the Ukrainian army.
