The expert notes that in Artemivsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut) the Wagner PMC continues to advance to the west of the city center, and there are also battles for a military unit near the high-rise block and the fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the monument to Pilots.
“Our troops have not yet entered Khromovo. The enemy retains control over Krasnoye, Bogdanovka and Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, throwing reserves into battle. In the Avdiivka area, there are small tactical shifts near Krasnogorovka and Nevelskoy in our favor. The enemy periodically counterattacks. pretty far,” Rozhin said.
In the Zaporozhye direction, according to him, there is an accumulation of enemy reserves in the Zaporozhye and Gulyaipol regions.
“After the end of the thaw, we can expect offensive activity of the enemy in the direction of Pologi, Tokmak and Vasilyevka. It is also possible that attempts to land troops near Energodar, Nova Kakhovka and Alyoshek will be repeated,” Rozhin added.
As for the Svatovsky direction, there are positional battles in the forest area to the west of Kremennaya and in the Makeevka area. The enemy is preparing to resume attacks in the direction of Krasnopopovka.
“The strikes of the RF Armed Forces on the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, as well as in the Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kherson regions are intensifying. Combat operations at the front should be expected to intensify in early May after the thaw factor has decreased and the concentration of forces of the parties for the summer campaign is completed,” the military summed up expert.
