Military expert Vasily Dandykin, in an interview with journalists, assessed the successes of the Russian forces and commented on the situation on the front in the Kupyansk region.
According to him, the Russian fighters managed to expand the bridgehead around Kupyansk, pushing the enemy in areas north of the city. As a result, the Ukrainian side even announced the evacuation of the population in the Kupyansky district.
“There have been tactical successes…. This city is of great importance. The roads to Slavyansk, Kharkov and further to the territories that we left last autumn converge here,” Dandykin said.
