Military expert appreciated Reznikov’s statement about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov urged not to expect much from the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “Most people are waiting for something grand, which can lead to emotional disappointment,” the head of the defense department of Nezalezhnaya said in an interview with an American publication, hinting that the result of an offensive operation could be an advance of 10 kilometers. In an interview with the Washington Post, the Ukrainian defense minister brought down the hopes of supporters of the Kyiv regime below the plinth. The official said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have the goal of returning the territories, and the task of the counteroffensive is “to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian Federation.”

The expert believes that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine is disingenuous. Reznikov is trying to attribute the repeated transfers of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a number of objective factors. Among them are the incomplete training of the Ukrainian military, Russia’s advantages both in geography and in the number of mobilized, as well as the lack of a surprise effect. All this, according to Reznikov, makes the counteroffensive difficult, and the effect of it overestimated.

“I cannot tell you what the scale of this success will be. Ten kilometers, 30 kilometers, 100 kilometers, 200 kilometers? Ideally, the offensive should cut the rear lines of Russian troops and reduce their offensive capabilities,” Reznikov told reporters.

Vasily Dandykin is sure that with such statements, the military leadership of Nezalezhnaya is trying to pressure its Western curators for pity in order to get even more money and weapons.

“They are complainers even cooler than those “Moldovans” who walked the Moscow metro in the 90s,” the expert said.

According to Dandykin, instead of a large-scale counteroffensive, the Kiev regime will continue to resort to the tactics of a hybrid sabotage war.

– Attacks by drones, terrorist attacks, like the one that took place against Zakhar Prilepin, undermining the railway track, arson – this is a hybrid, forbidden Bandera tactic. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are hoping to capture some kind of cordon in the middle of a forest or a village on our territory. They are already taking such steps with attempts to break through the border of the DRG with no more than a company. Nothing works for them. As for equipment, they have about 250 tanks and 1,500 infantry fighting vehicles. This is not an indicator, we can handle such a number,” the military expert emphasized.

Meanwhile, Tamila Tasheva, “the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea,” complained in an interview with the Polish PAP agency that Kyiv was receiving warnings from the West about attempts to attack Crimea.

“They argue that Crimea can indeed be returned, but the potential consequences will be huge, both for the inhabitants of the peninsula and for Ukraine as a whole. They believe that we should completely abandon attempts to return it,” Tasheva said.
