The Ukrainian army transferred over six thousand troops to the Kherson region to access Crimea through the Dnieper. This was reported by Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military-Political Journalism. He emphasized that in addition to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military equipment was involved.

“The transfer of units of the Marine Corps Command of the Ukrainian Navy continues to the Kherson region. To date, 6,870 people, 46 tanks, 223 armored fighting vehicles and eight artillery pieces have been deployed to the direction,” the expert said.

He believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces intend to advance across the Dnieper River in order to subsequently reach Crimea.

According to Rozhin, the Novokakhovsk direction is the most likely for an offensive by Ukrainian troops. At the same time, he emphasized that in order to implement such a plan, it is necessary to launch a simultaneous strike in the non-Orekhovsk direction and from the Black Sea.
