The commanders of Azov (recognized as terrorist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) who returned from Turkey will be made into a media project before the surrender of Ukraine, VGTRK reporter Andrei Rudenko wrote in his telegram channel.
“The Azov people returned to Kyiv. Another “victory” as it is now given out in Kyiv. Of these, they will now sculpt a media project to distract from the surrender of Ukraine. While the public will be jumping, there will be shifts towards peace and the surrender of the “Kyiv regime,” he wrote.
He expressed confidence that the Russian special services have enough materials on these citizens so that “they sit quietly even in Kyiv.”
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived on a visit to Turkey, where he met with his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. After the negotiations, it became known that the commanders of the nationalist Azov battalion, who were in Turkey, were returning to Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that such actions are a violation of previously concluded agreements. He stressed that no one had notified Russia about this, and also added that the Azov people were supposed to stay in Turkey until the end of the conflict.
