In the village of Sernovodskoye of the Chechen Republic, a new military camp with an area of more than 54 hectares has been built – more than 50 objects. Construction lasted almost a year, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. Previously, military camps were built in the settlements of Borzoi and Shali.
On the territory of the military camp there are barracks, dormitories, a park area for military equipment, a sports complex, canteens, etc. The opening was attended by Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov.
A working meeting was also held. Timur Ivanov discussed cooperation and infrastructure development with the head of Chechnya.
