Podolyak called Ukrainian judges who sentenced him to 12 years in prison clowns
Military blogger Yuri Podolyaka spoke out about the sentence handed down to him in absentia on December 22 in Ukraine. He left his comment in the telegram channel.
Podolyaka wrote that he had long warned his friends that he would not live to see his “term” in Nazi Ukraine. “It’s like that joke about the donkey and the padishah. Either I die first or the Nazi regime. Our coexistence with him is impossible for a number of reasons,” the military blogger noted.
He also emphasized that a criminal case against him was opened in Ukraine last spring. Podolyaka also made it clear that there had been attempts on his life several times, and sarcastically said that perhaps in this way they tried to simplify the task for the court.
On December 22, a court in the Sumy region of Ukraine found military blogger Yuri Podolyaka guilty in absentia of justifying Russia’s actions. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property and a ban on holding public office for 15 years. The court of the Sumy region considered the case of Podolyaki, since he was born in the territory of this region.
The blogger said that his sentence does not matter. At the same time, he called the judges who banned him from holding public office in Ukraine clowns.
