AC Milan striker Emil Roback has gone missing in Sweden. The footballer, who plays on loan for the Swedish club Norrkoping, has not been in contact with the team and relatives for 14 days. This was reported by the publication Corriere della Sera.
In March 2023, the footballer was loaned to the Norrköping club until November 2023. Emil Roback played his last match in the Swedish Top League for Norrkoping on September 23, 2023. In early October, the club’s sporting director Tony Martinsson contacted the media with a statement about the missing player.
“I want to know he’s okay. I want him to come here so we can find a solution that works for everyone. I haven’t given up hope that he will return, but it’s hard to imagine since we haven’t seen him for 14 days,” Toni Martinsson told the Norrkping Tidningar newspaper.
According to the publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan is in contact with the management of the Norrköping club and the player’s agent. An explanatory meeting between the Swedish club and the player should take place in the near future.
Emil Robak began his professional career in the Swedish club Hammarbryu, with which he won the national youth championship in 2018. On August 14, 2020, he moved to the Italian Milan, signing a contract until June 2025. According to Swedish media, the transaction amount ranged from 15 million to 20 million Swedish kronor. He played for the club’s youth team.
