Giorgi Chiladze, a representative of the Georgian opposition party United National Movement, said that former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili was being transferred from the ward to intensive care in critical condition.
“The president’s state of health is at a critical level,” Chiladze said, adding that Saakashvili’s attending physician had given him this information a few minutes ago.
“In these minutes the resuscitation ward is being prepared,” the Georgian politician added, talking to journalists.
Earlier, independent doctors said that Mikheil Saakashvili was poisoned with heavy metals. Recently, the family reported that Saakashvili began to lose his leg and began to lose weight dramatically.
Last week, lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze reported that in the clinic where Saakashvili was taken from prison, the ex-president contracted the coronavirus.
