Former world boxing champion Mike Tyson has said streaming service Hulu had to pay him before releasing a mini-series about the life of a boxer. The athlete called the service “slave owners” who “stole his life story.” The series will air on August 25.
“Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life— wrote Mr. Tyson on Instagram (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned). — It’s not 1822. In the yard of 2022. They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu management, I’m just a nigga that can be auctioned off.”
The former boxer thanked UFC President Dana White for not helping to promote the series despite “Hulu was desperate to bribe” him.
The company itself did not comment on Mr. Tyson’s statements.
