MIA Rossiya Segodnya, headed by Dmitry Kiselev, filed an application with Rospatent for the registration of the Ekho Moskvy brand. This is evidenced by the data of the register of applications for registration of a trademark and service mark of Rospatent.
According to the filings, the name and logo are identical to the radio station, which was liquidated in March last year. The list of activities included, among other things, the production of media content, the rental of diving equipment and the control of oil wells.
Recall that Ekho Moskvy ceased to exist on March 3, 2022 after Roskomnadzor restricted access to the information resources of the radio station. The reason for blocking was the publication of fakes about SVO.
