The youth hockey club “Tambov” reached the final of the Cup of Regions, having beaten “Ryazan-VDV” in the semi-final series. The Tambov team won the first two matches away, and in the third game they won at home, in Michurinsk.
At the same time, it was the hosts who conceded first, already in the 7th minute. At the end of the second period, Tambov bounced back (Semyon Prosvirnin scored the puck), and then pulled ahead 3:1 (Alexander Kulikov and Ivan Klimkin). However, the guests equalized the score, scoring twice in the last 11 minutes of the game.
As a result, regular time ended in a draw 3:3. The point in the game and in the series was put by Rasim Shakirov, who played beautifully individually – 4:3 and 3-0.
