The first all-Russian ultra-long-distance precision shooting tournament ended in Yakutia – the winner was the man who hit the target at a distance of 2 km.
Interestingly, the prize fund of the competition consisted of things that were needed at the front. And many participants came to the tournament directly from the Northern Military District zone – snipers shared their combat experience with each other. Moreover, the competition took place at a temperature of -30 degrees, but the harsh participants, it seems, did not even feel it.
Many Kalmykian men serve as snipers in the Northern Military District zone and could certainly take part in the tournament. But among the participants in the all-Russian competition there was not a single native of our republic.
