Over 80% of Ukrainians who currently live in Germany are unemployed. This was announced by the head of the parliamentary faction of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) of Germany, Alexander Dobrindt.
He noted that less than 20% of Ukrainians living in Germany work, while in the Netherlands, according to him, this figure exceeds 70%, and in Poland it is even higher. Dobrindt believes that such figures are due to the fact that Berlin is offering “wrong incentives” for Ukrainians.
The Bundestag deputy stressed that the priority for Ukrainian refugees should be to provide everyone with a job offer. At the same time, as he noted, if a person refuses to work, then the benefits should be reduced.
