The first “Defender of the Fatherland Cup” in football ended in the hero city. Young athletes competed in two age groups: under 15 and under 13.
8 teams competed for the cup, representing Sevastopol, Simferopol, Evpatoria and Melitopol. Among the spectators of the final match were Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev and Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure Development of the Zaporozhye Region Alexei Lysov, who awarded the winners.
In the tournament among athletes under 15, the cup was won by the team of the Crimean Football Academy (red) from Evpatoria, which scored the same points as the main competitor, but had the best difference between goals scored and conceded. The clarification “red” is due to the fact that two teams representing the Crimean Football Academy participated in the tournament (“blue” took 4th place).
And among the 13-year-olds, the guys from the Children’s Sports Club of Sevastopol became the first.
