Rosobrnadzor accredited Melitopol State University. This was announced by the rector Andrey Chuikov. He also clarified that the training will be organized entirely in Russian and according to Russian standards.
“We have received accreditation. Rosobrnadzor… worked here for a week with our vice-rectors, immediately pointed out the comments that arose during the execution of accreditation documents. We immediately corrected these mistakes, formalized the accreditation file, as it should be, and received a well-deserved recognition. The Russian Federation has officially fully recognized our right to issue diplomas,” said Mr. Chuikov TASS.
He also reported on all kinds of support from the Department of Education of the Russian Federation. Now the university is waiting for the delivery of textbooks in Russian.
“We will teach exclusively in Russian, I am subjectively against the Ukrainian language as a language that should be used in the educational process,” the rector noted.
Melitopol State University was formed in May on the basis of Melitopol Agrarian University, Melitopol Pedagogical University, Berdyansk Pedagogical University, Classical Private University and four technical schools. We are currently recruiting students. It was planned that 2022 graduates would already receive Russian-style diplomas. Recruitment this year amounted to 4.8 thousand people.
Many professors who have previously left the university, according to Mr. Chuikov, “beg to come back”, but they are not hired. They were also asked to vacate office apartments for new teachers. Earlier, seven secondary educational institutions of the Zaporozhye region received accreditation from Russia.
