After that, as the telegram channel Mash reported on Tuesday, the “Army of Defenders of the Fatherland” wrote statements to the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation about the inadmissibility of the artist’s statements.
The organization asked to give Meladze’s statements a legal assessment, not to let him into Russia, and also to check whether Meladze, who lived in Ukraine during the collapse of the USSR, received Russian citizenship according to the rules.
