The match between Russian Daniil Medvedev and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in the second round of the third Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament of the season was suspended due to darkness. The meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow, July 7th. In the first two sets, the score was 6:3, 6:3 in favor of Daniil Medvedev, in the third – 4:4.

27-year-old Daniil Medvedev ranks third in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). In 2021, he won the US Open Grand Slam tournament, in the same year he won the Davis Cup and the ATP Cup as part of the Russian team. 35-year-old Adrian Mannarino is in 35th place in the ATP rankings. He did not go beyond the fourth round at the Grand Slam tournaments. In total, he has two victories in tournaments under the auspices of the ATP.
