“Because, Matti, we are joining NATO.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported that after the formation of the Leningrad and Moscow military districts, our country will strengthen the army on the western borders. The head of the department noted that a special destabilizing condition was, in particular, the inclusion of Finland in NATO, which took place in April. Shoigu stressed that after the entry of Helsinki into the North Atlantic bloc, the land border of the Russian Federation with NATO countries has almost doubled.
