Medvedev: The West is tired of Ukraine and is committed to supporting Israel

The West is “very tired” of Ukraine and “enthusiastically” began supporting Israel. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
“The West is very tired of Ukraine. And he enthusiastically took up the support of Israel. Even the new Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Michael Jackson (sorry, Mike Johnson, but who cares) named helping Tel Aviv as his first priority,” wrote he is on his Telegram channel.
Medvedev expressed confidence that the ground operation in the Gaza Strip, which Israel is postponing due to US pressure, will still take place. According to him, it will have “the most serious and bloody consequences.” The politician also asked about the possibility of resuming the Middle East settlement process and compliance with the UN Security Council resolution.
“The questions are, of course, rhetorical. After all, dividing the money for someone else’s war far from the United States is much more interesting. The war must go on,” Medvedev concluded.
On October 7, the Gaza-based Palestinian group Hamas attacked southern Israel. In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched Operation Iron Swords, with the military regularly launching attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Israeli authorities also announced a ground operation in the region. National Defense Minister Yoav Galant statedthat militants in the Gaza Strip will face a “deadly” attack that will include attacks from land, sea and air. He called on the Israeli military to “continue to prepare for an attack because it will happen.” On October 27, The Wall Street Journal, citing American officials and informed sources, reported that Israel, at the request of the United States, postponed the ground operation in Gaza.
According to the latest data, about 8,000 people were killed in the Palestinian-Israeli war, including more than 6,500 Palestinians. The UN has called the humanitarian situation in Gaza catastrophic due to constant shelling and a complete blockade of the strip.
