Medvedev said Leopards are useless for Ukraine: they will become rusty scrap metal

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev commented on the information that Poland decided to transfer a company of Leopard tanks to Ukraine. In addition, Kyiv will receive modernized T-72 tanks. This became known after the meeting in Lviv of the Presidents of Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania Volodymyr Zelensky, Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda.
“Three poor people from Warsaw, Vilnius and Kyiv… are praying for tanks,” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.
“All this iron will soon become rusty scrap metal anyway,” Medvedev added, noting that the tanks would not save the “artificial country falling apart.”
Medvedev believes that Lvov will again bear the name Lemberg (the Austrian name for the city of Lvov from 1772 to 1918). In his opinion, the meeting was held there so that the western Ukrainian regions “are properly attached to the new (former) owners.”
