NATO does not take seriously the threat of a nuclear war, considering it impossible to develop such a scenario, and this is their mistake, declared Deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with RT.
“Otherwise, NATO would not supply such dangerous weapons to the Ukrainian regime,” the politician said. “So, apparently, they believe that a nuclear conflict … is impossible, because it is never possible.”
According to the deputy chairman of the Security Council, the North Atlantic Alliance is mistaken and events at some point “may go according to a completely unpredictable scenario”, then the responsibility will lie entirely with NATO.
As Medvedev pointed out, no one knows whether the point of no return has already been passed.
“No one knows her,” he says. “And that’s the main danger.”
