Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev published a message on his Telegram channel dedicated to the introduction of new sanctions by the West against the Russian Federation. The day before it was reported that the EU introduced the 13th package of sanctions and at the same time the White House announced new large-scale sanctions, which consist of more than 500 points.

“These bans are no longer directed against the authorities or business,” Medvedev noted. “They were taken against the entire population of Russia,” he emphasized, noting that the reason is that “the worse it is for the citizens of Russia, the better it is for the Western world.”

“We all just need to remember this and take revenge on them wherever possible. They are our enemies,” Dmitry Medvedev urged.

He added that Russia should create all kinds of economic difficulties for the West, arouse public discontent in Western countries, and also promote international solutions that will infringe on the interests of the Western world.

In addition, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council called for activities in Western countries “that are not customary to talk about publicly.”

“In war it’s like in war,” Medvedev summed up.
