Medvedev called the problems of Europe the rise in the cost of living and national humiliation

Europeans were sold a “cheap pornographic show” that brought them problems – higher cost of living and national humiliation, declared Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, on his Telegram channel.
According to Medvedev, modern European leaders “will never stand even next to their predecessors” – those who built a “new, independent and prosperous” Europe.
“This was especially noticeable during the last “chess” of Ukrainian extortionists. The apogee of the “circus of freaks” was an audience with a green greasy T-shirt from the British monarch,” the politician wrote, commenting on the meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and King Charles III of Great Britain.
Now, “those living on the ruins of the great Roman Empire” see that they have been sold a “cheap pornographic show” and a “vile and dirty fantasy” that only brought trouble to Europeans, Medvedev said. He called the first such problem “an exorbitant rise in the cost of their lives”, which citizens can cope with if they “eat less” and “wash less often”. The second problem – “national humiliation” – is much worse, the deputy chairman of the Security Council believes.
“But when, albeit former, but empires are being urged on by former undersized losers … Well, the former“ great principalities ”- Polish and Lithuanian … this is very humiliating <...> This reign of exalted young European freaks will end very badly for the “old European civilization,” Medvedev wrote.
According to him, it “dissolves under the onslaught of emigrants”, and will soon disappear altogether, “repeating the well-known myth about the abduction of Europe by Zeus”, while “the role of the bull will be played by impudent America”, whose interests are served by Poland and the Baltic countries.
After meeting with Zelensky, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said he had discussed with the Ukrainian president the possibility of providing Kyiv with fighter jets. In addition, they discussed providing Ukraine with even more long-range weapons, including missiles. On February 9, Zelensky spoke at the Council of Europe and again called on European countries to provide modern weapons to Kyiv as assistance. Against this background, Medvedev declared about the need to increase the production of various types of weapons and military equipment in Russia, including modern tanks.
