According to the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski, this does not mean sending troops. The mission is being created to coordinate the assistance that the alliance countries provide to Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also stated about the absence of plans to send alliance troops to the territory of Ukraine. He added that NATO is not a party to this conflict, although it provides support to Kyiv.

French President Emmanuel Macron was the first to announce the possibility of sending soldiers to Ukraine. According to him, this could be one of the options for supporting Kyiv. He later clarified that Paris is not yet considering such a development.
