Located in the center of Kyiv, Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti) will soon become the square of Russia, declared Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.
“Independence Square. Soon – the square of Russia,” he wrote, posting a photo of the square with the Russian tricolor in the center and congratulating the Russians on the Day of Russia. This holiday is celebrated on June 12th.
Formerly Medvedev declared about the existence of three scenarios for the collapse of Ukraine, one of which involves the accession to Russia of the central part of the country and the entry of the western part of a number of EU countries. Other scenarios involve the disappearance of Ukraine after the end of the special operation and the formation of a “new Ukraine” – the territory between Russia and the former western regions that have come under the control of the EU countries.
In April, Medvedev suggestedthat Ukraine will disappear because neither Europe, nor the United States, nor other countries of the world, nor Russia, nor its own citizens need it.
