Medvedev allowed a terrorist attack similar to the September 11 attack to be repeated in the United States

The US will wait for terrorists to carry out an attack again one day, like they did on September 11, 2001, but now with a “nuclear or biological component” stated Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.

Medvedev explains the possibility of repeating attacks by the behavior of the United States. The politician speaks, in particular, about the introduction of “illegal sanctions against Russia and countries friendly to us” and the requirement to “not touch” Western assets “in your backward economies.” In addition, the West, according to Medvedev, is allowed to supply any weapons to Russia’s enemies, while Moscow’s “friends” are prohibited from such actions.

“I don’t want to shout, but they will wait until at some point the terrorists will again carry out an attack in the style of 09/11/2001, but with an atomic or biological component,” the politician wrote.

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council also suggested that some of the leaders of nuclear states (including Russia) would “lose their nerve” and decide to use weapons of mass destruction. He emphasized that the nuclear club is constantly expanding, and a significant part of it “is not bound by any obligations.”

On the morning of September 11, 2001, four groups of terrorists hijacked four scheduled passenger airliners in the United States. The militants sent two planes to the World Trade Center towers in the southern part of Manhattan in New York. The terrorist attack was the largest in history in terms of the number of victims: in addition to the 19 terrorists, 2,977 people died as a result of the attacks, and another 24 were missing.
