Chairman of the council of the “Other Ukraine” movement Viktor Medvedchuk said that the position of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on “reconsidering priorities” in the Ukrainian conflict is counterproductive.
The announced “winter package” with new IRIS-T systems, additional units of the Patriot anti-aircraft system and anti-aircraft tanks with ammunition will only prolong the conflict, and the “infusion” of 50 billion euros from the European Peace Fund is “extremely doubtful in its effectiveness,” Medvedchuk said in an interview with German publication Freilich.
Funding Ukraine, according to the politician, is counterproductive, since the Ukrainian conflict has already become “an unusually profitable business for the Zelensky regime”
