Medinsky: Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University is crammed with creatures from among the liberal teachers

Former Minister of Culture, Presidential Aide and Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society Vladimir Medinsky believes that there are too many teachers with liberal views at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. He believes that the military operations in Ukraine “imply a special attitude” to what is happening. According to him, there are many young people in Moscow who “do not understand this well.”
“A special military operation presupposes a special attitude to the ongoing events,” said Mr. Medinsky at the presentation of Vladimir Kiknadze’s book “The Power of Truth”. “We are located in the very center of our beloved capital, where the percentage of young people who do not understand well is much higher than the national average. Across the road is the journalism department of Moscow State University, where the guy was hounded, ”he said. “The journalism faculty of Moscow State University is full of these creatures from among the liberal teachers,” Medinsky believes (quote from RIA Novosti).
At the end of September, the ethical commission of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University took out the decision to expel two third-year students for obscene statements about a classmate in a course conversation on Vkontakte. Shortly before that, a young man came to the faculty in a T-shirt with Z-symbols and the flag of the Luhansk People’s Republic. This was captured on video. In the conversation of the course, some students condemned his act. After that, the correspondence, where his classmates discussed such an action, hit the net. Several third-year students began to receive anonymous threats, after which they were forced to temporarily move.
Earlier, the leadership of the faculty of journalism has repeatedly spoken about the inadmissibility of demonstrating any political views within the walls of the university.
