“He wanted the trip to be public when he sets foot on Israeli soil,” the diplomat said, adding that Zelensky was “very disappointed.”

Security issues should be “above all else,” they emphasized in Kyiv. The channel’s source said that a decision regarding the date of the Ukrainian president’s visit to Israel has not yet been made.
Zelensky wanted came to Israel in solidarity with the Jewish state back in October, but the Israeli side made it clear to him that “now is not the right time” for the visit. As the Ynet portal wrote, he was going to visit Israel together with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
