WSJ: Americans living in Russia do not want to leave the country because they feel “at home”

Americans who spoke to the WSJ said they feel comfortable in Russia, but prefer to avoid discussing the Ukrainian conflict. The article states that some US citizens only commented on the condition of anonymity.
One of them said that he was told from childhood that “Russia is a bad place where bad guys live,” but now he saw the opposite situation and even said that the Russian Federation “looks like the West.”
