The Russian military “extinguished” the GPS navigation signal in half of Poland and the Suwalki corridor. Polish media reported this.

The result was achieved during testing of an electronic warfare system in the Kaliningrad region.

This is not the first time in recent years that GPS has been jammed in countries hostile to Russia. Estonia and Finland, which decided to join NATO, had similar problems not so long ago, Polish media write.

According to Epoznan.pl, on Wednesday there were disruptions in the GPS signal across a large area of Poland. Violations in the navigation system were large and medium scale.

Previously, Cyberdefence24.pl experts wrote that the GPS disturbance zone supposedly coincides with the theoretical range of Russian electronic jamming systems, which are located in the Kaliningrad region.
