Explosions occurred in the Ukrainian cities of Odessa, Ochakov and Kharkov, reports the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua.
As noted, earlier an air raid alert was announced in a number of regions of Ukraine.
“They are reporting explosions in Ochakov, Nikolaev region… they are reporting an explosion in Odessa,” the message follows.
Later it became known about the explosion in Kharkov, the corresponding video was published on social networks.
The Russian army began striking the infrastructure of Ukraine on October 10, 2022, in response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge. Strikes are carried out only on military targets, as well as energy facilities. During this time, air raid alerts in areas controlled by Kyiv are announced virtually every day, and periodically this happens throughout the country.
Jack Watling, a researcher at the British Royal United Defense Studies Institute (RUSI), said that attacks on critical infrastructure will make the winter very difficult for Ukraine. In his opinion, strikes by the Russian Armed Forces against critical infrastructure facilities pose a strategic threat to the Kyiv regime. Watling called on Ukraine to “prepare for a difficult winter.”
