Media: hockey player Kazbekov died after falling from the window of a multi-storey building

Russian hockey player Abakar Kazbekov could have died as a result of a fall from a great height. This is reported by the Canadian television channel CTV.
The body of an 18-year-old athlete was found on Saturday morning outside an apartment building in London, Ontario. No cause of death was reported. Canadian police are investigating the incident.
Abakar Kazbekov was born in Moscow, was a graduate of the Podolsk “Vityaz”. He was selected first overall by the Ontario Hockey League last year. This season, he managed to play in 12 matches of the Ontario Hockey League and make one assist.
The Russian embassy in Ottawa expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the hockey player and declared their readiness to provide all necessary assistance. The diplomatic mission also reported that they were in touch with the club and the league to clarify the situation.
Due to the incident, the next match of the London Knights team – with the Flint Firebirds – was decided to be postponed.
