Media: Erdogan may meet with Putin in Russia on September 8

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may come to Russia to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 8, informed Bloomberg, citing sources in Ankara.

After visiting Moscow, the Turkish president will travel to India for the G20 summit in India. The Erdogan administration did not comment on this information.

Earlier today, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov again confirmedthat Putin’s meeting with Erdogan will take place in the near future. He did not comment on the possibility of Erdogan’s visit to Russia. “Because there are certain agreements on the dates of the announcement, and we intend to adhere to these agreements,” Peskov said.

Putin and Erdogan Deal about the meeting during a telephone conversation on August 2.
