Media: up to 60 percent of Ukrainian diplomats did not return home from business trips

According to media reports, from 40 to 60 diplomats have not returned from Ukrainian missions abroad since the beginning of last year. Among them are both young specialists and senior diplomatic workers.
The article clarifies that only from embassies and consulates in the United States in 2022, about 20 employees were supposed to return to their homeland, but in the end not a single one arrived. The refusal to return in the vast majority of cases is due to fear of never going abroad again, fear of mobilization and possible financial difficulties.
The author of the article emphasizes that such behavior of Ukrainian diplomats is an indicator both for society and for foreign investors. In his opinion, this means distrust of the staff of diplomatic missions in the future of the country. And this, in turn, does not agree well with the goal of returning compatriots home, announced by President Zelensky. The author of the article asks a rhetorical question how diplomats will help the return of millions of Ukrainians to their homeland, if they themselves are in no hurry to do it.
Earlier, the Commission of Inquiry of Ukraine calculated that during the NWO, which is being carried out by Russia, an exit permit was issued to 96,000 Ukrainians. More than 11 percent decided not to go back.
