Media: deputies fought in the Bulgarian parliament over help from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

There was a fight in the Bulgarian parliament, as some deputies did not find a compromise on the transfer of decommissioned armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Blitz publication.
The article says that before this, the deputies sorted things out in words. Now their behavior will be reviewed by the competent authorities, the material notes.
Earlier it was reported that the Bulgarian parliament decided to overturn the veto of state President Rumen Radev on the gratuitous transfer of armored vehicles to Ukraine. At the beginning of July, Bulgarian leader Rumen Radev spoke out against the transfer of weapons and ammunition stocks from the reserves of the republic’s army to Kyiv. He also pointed out to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that the Ukrainian conflict does not have a military solution.
On December 4, Radev vetoed the provision of a batch of decommissioned armored vehicles to the Ukrainian army – hundreds of armored personnel carriers that were produced about 40 years ago.
At the same time, American ex-intelligence officer Scott Ritter warned that Bulgaria could face a Ukrainian scenario if it enters into confrontation with Russia. He recommended that the Bulgarian authorities abandon sanctions against Russia and begin to cooperate with it in order to avoid an escalation of the conflict.
