The period of media campaigning in the presidential election campaign will begin on February 17 and will last until March 14. This was announced by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova at a meeting of the Central Election Commission.
“It (the period of propaganda in the media.— “Ъ”) begins on February 17, that is, 28 days before the start of the first day of voting, and ends on March 14 inclusive,” announced Ms. Pamfilova (quoted from RIA Novosti).
She recalled that a candidate can distribute campaign materials, leaflets and banners if they are paid for by him from the election fund and previously submitted to the election commission.
Voting in this year’s presidential election will take place over three days, March 15-17. The CEC has already registered as candidates Leonid Slutsky (LDPR), Vladislava Davankova (“New people”), Nikolai Kharitonov (CPRF).
Vladimir Putin plans participate in elections as a self-nominated candidate. His headquarters collected there are already more than 2.5 signatures in support of his nomination.
