The Austrian authorities lifted the veto from the 12th package of EU anti-Russian sanctions, Reuters reports, citing the website of the Ukrainian government and an EU diplomat.
This reportedly happened after Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) was removed from the “black list” compiled by the Kyiv regime.
Earlier it was reported that Vienna vetoed a new package of sanctions because of RBI, which was on the “black list” of Ukraine due to its continued activities in the Russian Federation.
At the same time, it is reported that the procedure for final approval of the new package of sanctions at the ministerial level in the EU Council has not even begun yet.
