Media: American base in Syria came under missile attack

A US military base in northeastern Syria was hit by a missile attack. reports Al Mayadeen citing sources.
We are talking about a US Air Force base on the territory of the Kharab al-Jir airfield in Al-Hasakah province. The channel does not specify who exactly is behind the attack or whether it was successful.
Attacks on American bases in the Middle East have become more frequent amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, in which the United States sided with the Jewish state. They are usually carried out by various armed groups that oppose Washington’s policies.
As Fox News reported, over the past week, more than 20 American soldiers have been injured as a result of attacks on American bases in the region, both missiles and drones were launched in their direction.
Since October 17, the United States has reported more than 10 attacks on its bases in Iraq and Syria, with American military installations located illegally in the latter country, without the approval of the local government. Damascus has repeatedly accused Washington of stealing oil and other natural resources from territories over which the US army has established control.
