According to the publication, the techniques of the Zlatoust engraving are used for the medals. The choice is not accidental: South Ural masters have long become a brand of the Chelyabinsk region, their products are known outside of Russia. In addition, it is not the first time that Zlatoust residents make medals for major sporting events. Recall that it was they who made awards for the Eurasian Freestyle Cup, which took place in the South Urals this spring.
It is planned that the South Ural ornament and the symbols of the competitions themselves will be reflected on the medals. And champion awards will additionally be covered with gold.
Earlier, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Chelyabinsk Region reported that for the Russian Championship, new equipment would be purchased at the Chelyabinsk stadium – bars, discs, spears, hammers and shots.
Prestigious competitions will be held from 3 to 6 August and will bring together over 800 athletes from Russia and Belarus in Chelyabinsk.
