Measles was detected in 17 kindergartens in the Rostov region, the region’s Ministry of Regional Policy and Mass Communications reported. At the moment, restrictive measures have been introduced in these institutions of the Rostov region, including 11 kindergartens in Rostov-on-Don. For 21 days, they will not be visited by children who have not been vaccinated and have not had measles. No cases of group infection in organized groups have been recorded.

“At the same time, family group morbidity is being registered among migrating population groups and a number of religious public organizations, whose members refuse vaccinations,” the ministry commented.

At the moment, all anti-epidemic measures have been organized in Rostov-on-Don and the Rostov region, which are mandatory in the current situation.
