Mayor of Voronezh Vadim Kstenin spoke about the support of the sports school of the Olympic reserve and the success of its students

On Tuesday, November 8, in his Telegram channel, Voronezh Mayor Vadim Kstenin shared the successes of Voronezh athletes and said that the mayor’s office provides various support to the development of sports in our city.
The head of the city especially noted the brilliant results of the graduates of the secondary school No. 2 in sports acrobatics and trampolining.
– Over the years of its existence, this sports school has trained 21 honored coaches, over 500 masters of sports and 107 masters of sports of international class. One cannot but be proud of this, so when I attended this school in 2021, I promised the leadership that we would develop it together.
Thanks to the mayor’s office, secondary school No. 2 made a major overhaul of the facade of the building (with insulation and ventilation systems) – over 20 million rubles were allocated from the budget for this purpose. The mayor also promised further support, ahead – the repair of engineering networks and interior finishing work.
– Athletes should develop in comfortable conditions, – Vadim Kstenin expressed his position. – The estimates have already been calculated, serious funds are needed – 14 million rubles. Financing will be included in the budgets of the coming years so that we can gradually put the school in order.
Pupils of the school, in turn, expressed their gratitude in the form of prize-winning places that they took at the Russian Championship – Voronezh won 19 silver and 2 bronze medals.
