Orenburg Mayor Sergei Salmin said that the flood situation in the city continues to be assessed as critical.
The water is rising, and it is expected that its level will only rise in the coming days, the mayor said in his Telegram channel. He recommended that residents of areas in the floodplains of the Urals and Sakmara, where power outages continue, evacuate, taking documents and valuables with them.
