A new train dedicated to the Russian Post now runs on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya metro line. This was told by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport Maxim Liksutov. According to him, the train will run on the “gray” line for six months.
Passengers will be able to learn about the most interesting branches of the Russian Post located in exotic corners of the country. Texts and pictures posted in the carriages will tell about collecting postage stamps, the history of mailboxes, how letters and parcels reach recipients, and much more.
A night concert was given at the Tulskaya metro station in honor of the launch of the new train. The choir of the metropolitan metro, the Russian Post and the Moscow musical theater “Helikon-Opera” performed for the audience.
– On behalf of the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to develop urban transport, make travel comfortable, safe and interesting, – emphasizes Maxim Liksutov.
Recall that recently another thematic train was launched on the Sokolnicheskaya line. Its design is dedicated to the BRICS countries and cultural cooperation between the member states of the organization: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
