It is now possible to top up a parking account and pay for city street parking – for example, at a metro station – without a commission. To do this, you just need to be a user of the application “Parking Russia”.
“We continue to fulfill the instructions of the Mayor of Moscow and make digital services not only more convenient, but also more accessible and more profitable for motorists. Now, in the Parking of Russia application, you can top up your parking account through a fast payment system or with a card without a bank commission – the city will cover the costs. This will affect 6.8 million users of Parking of Russia,” said Deputy Mayor in the Moscow Government for Transport Maxim Liksutov.
In addition, it will be possible to buy a parking subscription without a fee, pay for a 24-hour resident permit, a fine from AMPP or MADI, travel along the Moscow High-Speed Diameter, and pay for city parking lots with a barrier.
Importantly, this list also includes park-and-ride parking lots located near metro, MCC or MCD stations. Now there are 81 of these in the capital, they are located near the most popular metro stations, the MCC and the MCD. Motorists can leave the car on them for free from 5:30 to 2:00, subject to a couple of simple conditions.
It should be noted that the Parking of Russia application is the most popular service for paying for street parking, more than 95% of parking sessions in Moscow pass through it.
